GGG will win this court battle!!! because Cotto and GGG agreed on 800k b4 Cotto-Canelo was signed, and now that WBC stripped Cotto which is between Cotto and WBC

Its easy to understand, 800k was between GGG-Cotto ONLY, so when GGG steps aside for Cotto-Canelo to gets signed then at that moment Cotto owes him 800k.

whereas 300k was between Cotto-WBC ONLY, so when WBC stripped him then it doesnt change the fact that GGG already stepped aside to let Cotto-Canelo gets signed

What Cotto is trying to do is screw over another boxer. I like Cotto as a boxer and haven't had any problems with his requests (even CWs weren't too bad), but this is a straight up b!tch move.

Could've been avoided if they hadn't made Golovin the mado, breaking their own rules.
So, now the rules of these organizations are noble? Lol. Ggg is rightfully the number one contender in reality. Now you guys want the wbc to follow their rules?

So now people are me GGG ranked by more than one Organization,WTF

I have never seen this happen before, where a champion of another organisation is made a mandatory of another organisation, if that isnt corruption then i dont know what it is then.
WTF are people talking about. Many fighters are ranked by multiple organizations. I didn't do a thorough read, but I couldn't find a WBC rule stating they can't make a mandatory out of a title holder for another belt.

Maybe others have more time to read it.

            B-hop held al four titles,

If organization don't rank the best, it's immobile anyone ever unifies all the belts.

Cotto paid Rubio a step aside fee so he ok'd gain the championship in the first place.

Cotto agreed to do the same to GGG so he could wait one more fight before getting his teeth knocked in.

Now Cotto is close to having to make that choice, and suddenly he is complaining.

              Cotto basically said this -
              "WBC are financially motivated"
Then he did the following BEFORE vacating the belt:
              • Used the WBC belt as advertisement to the fight
              • Used the WBC belt in negotiating stages with ODLH & Alvarez to get higher %
              • Also used it to get first ring entrance and god knows what other stipulations I believe something to do with avoiding VADA
              • He gave the fans a false allure that the winner of this could possibly fight the real MW king
              • He lied to everyone!

Then after all of this THEN and only then did he decide oh Its nearly the last minute I don't want to pay that $1.1 million to WBC and Golovkin, I hereby vacate my belt.

How is it unfair on boxing that he pays what he is entitled to, why does he think he is bigger than the sanctioning bodies of boxing and the people who promote chumps like Cotto?
He made a fool of boxing as a whole and If you're a real fan of this god damn sport you would call him out on this and you wouldn't make pathetic excuse because he is earning possibly above $20 million hell he might be earning way more than that I don't know exactly but I know for sure $1.1 out of his pocket when this fight is done is pennies to this prick.

You really could go on and on analyzing this B.S. what's worse is he's trying to blame everyone but himself that's the worst part of it all.
              Good post, mate.

Note to Cotto: Of course it was financially motivated. As you are so fond of saying, "boxing is a business". It was a business decision, just like your decision to avoid GGG, right?

Criticise the WBC for a long list of corrupt practices...

But you want to criticise the WBC for installing other champions as a WBC mandatory? That's a clear indication that your bias against a certain fighter has gone way too far.

Btw, if you want to get smart about it, the WBC President reserves the right to install any fighter as a 'special circumstance' for the WBC title. Its there to allow for megafights where the rules usually wouldnt allow them to happen. I despise most of the practices of the WBC, but give them credit where its due. The Wlad/Wilder, Kovalev/Stevenson and GGG/Cotto scenarios haven't been made more difficult by the WBC, even where theres a possibilty its in their political/financial interest to do so..

As for the thread, the entire sport of professional boxing is financially motivated.
