Backed Quigg early but I've been impressed by Frampton. On his day Frampton is slick but his last fight was a concern, doesn't look like he takes a body shot well. Quigg hits hard to the body

He just took Liam Smith to a WBO title I think, right? Quigg is WBA super duper champion I guess. Steven Smith is close to a world title. He took Macklin to world title shots.

Doesn't take away from what he's done for Quigg, the smith brothers, Crolla should have won a title too in his last fight.

That's 2 or 3 world champions in the space of a short time. Some of which he's taken from the bottom to the top.
Quigg was handed his title. He drew the fight that was supposed to be for his world title. Gallagher's brilliant gameplan was to give away the first 6 rounds lol.

Gallagher said that Scott Quigg ruined Salinas and that's why he got starched in his next fight.

Frampton's response was priceless, "Ruined him with a draw?!???"

His only ever world champion is Liam Smith who was basically handed it too. Who the hell was that kid he beat for it anyway? Now he's fighting someone who is actually called "Jimmy Kelly"

I agree with Dirk for once, Quigg is correctly labelled a paper champion. He may be good enough to be a world champion but did not beat a world champion or a the number 1 guy to win it. Also I like Liam Smith but he beat a painter (literally) to win the title.

Also the "Crayons" comment by Carl was gold.

I know he was. For the record, I think Quigg won that fight against Salinas. he had a KD or something and it was quite clear round by round who won if I remember correctly, and Quigg deserved the win imo, although it was tight.

I think that was a tongue in cheek comment based on Frampton's supposed ruining of Martinez which was also a little bit cringe imo.

But yeah, that comment was hilarious

Didn't say the guy he fought was any good. but it's as much a world title as Frampton's.

I think Frampton is going to win. I don't think he will have it all his own way though. I see Quigg as underrated.

I like both guys, always have. While i don't particularly mind who wins, i will probably side with Quigg as he is the underdog.

Like others though, i'm not too keen on Gallagher.

I'm Team Santa Cruz but I think Frampton's going to beat the crap out of Quigg.

You forgot to add team eurobum.

If you're not born or nationalised in America; there's basically no point in being a fighter, right guys?

Or so I've been told more times than I care to count by the worlds foremost boxing experts.

I have no reason not to believe nsb.

                TRUMP FOR PRESIDENT.

Well no since Frampton actually beat the champion, Kiko, who'd stopped the previous champion (Romero) and made a couple of good defences (Hasegawa, Mathebula).

I can't even remember who the kid Smith boxed for a world title was and it was vacant. Pretty sure the original guy pulled out too.

I think Frampton's team made a fair point about Kiko, that's exactly how I felt at the time. I had a feeling that Quigg would knock him out but far too much has been made over that comparison.

It's true he beat a champion and that's fine - But the title is a world title and that was your question. As I said, Anthony Crolla also should be a genuine world champion now.

I don't think that was a fair point at all, I thought it was quite dumb. Especially considering they were saying Kiko would perhaps beat Quigg before the fight.

Kiko has come back and won a couple of times since that fight as well. It's more just that he got caught. Nobody ruined anyone.

I wish Frampton was able to keep his cool a little bit more. He's really getting wound up by Hearn and Quigg.
