What is wrong with a natural middleweight champion staying at middleweight and defending his title 3 or 4 times a year until he retires. That is what Hagler and Monzon did. Anybody who wanted to fight them had to come up or down to 160 with no catchweights. I don't think anyone ever complained about them doing this and they are both Hall of Famers and all time greats. Why can't GGG do the same thing without this b*tching about it from some fans
    What good fight? Missed that.

GGG will only go down to 154 for mayweather. Cotto needs to realize that he is not Floyd

Why do you call GGG lil'g? Do you have to copycat Ward? I think all boxers should be call by their correct name or complimentary nick name like Canelo or GGG. The boxers never read this board but I still think they deserve to be called by their real name.. You don't have to like them and you can say bad things about them. Just don't insult them with childish, moronic, insulting names. Have some class and call him GGG. Do you like it when posters on this board call Cotto kneequel, moonwalker, coward etc.?

We already know Cotto won't fight Golovkin even at 157lbs, otherwise he'd have fought him instead of Geale.

Does that apply to lil g? because he says he would fight Chavez Jr and Froch at 168 but he wouldnt fight Wardd at 168.

He might agree to something in between 154 and 160. That said i doubt Cotto fights him. Cotto went all Quillen on his title to avoid GGG. Cotto knows his limits, if he fought GGG he would need a bigger body to accommodate all the tattoos he would get after that loss.

(btw..... he was always after Cotto, having the belt was just gonna make it easier for lil'g to get the fight. Now if he wants a fight with Cotto, he's gonna have to do like everyone else in boxing has done before him.)

He put on a great display of jabbing and power punching against world champion Lemieux. I though it was a good fight and I enjoyed so I am sorry you disagree. Maybe you prefer the thrilling performances of Ward or Lara or someone else. All of GGG's fights are good fights to me and best of all they always have a knock out ending. There is no other fighter I would rather watch than GGG. and his growing fan base agree so he can do just fine without Cotto. He is getting more popular all the time and he derseves it. How many top 10 world rated fighters fight 4 times a year like GGG does?

He should if he wants to make some money. It's the biggest fight he can get besides Canelo, but Oscar ain't gonna let that happen yet. Wasn't too long ago when lil g's team said they'd fight anyone from 154-168. Cut the weight and get your payday you fool.
