There is no other fighter I would rather watch than GGG. and his growing fan base agree so he can do just fine without Cotto. He is getting more popular all the time and he derseves it. How many top 10 world rated fighters fight 4 times a year like GGG does?
Sorry, wasn't a good fight and Lemieux is mediocre. Next.

If Canelo KOs Cotto then Cotto won't be such a big star and GGG will not want to fight any boxer who just got knocked out.

(btw..... he was always after Cotto, having the belt was just gonna make it easier for lil'g to get the fight. Now if he wants a fight with Cotto, he's gonna have to do like everyone else in boxing has done before him.)
Don't know how much more you need to see before you understand this.
Cotto doesn't want any part of Golovkin.
Miguel Cotto is afraid of fighting Gennady Golovkin.
This must be a very difficult time for you lol

          - I think he will , he is after Cotto's name he knows that it will be his biggest fight, biggest purse with the least amount of risk. But this all depends on how Cotto looks againts Canelo.

Personally I think that if Cotto wins on Saturday GGG will approach Cotto with an offer to fight at 157 with the intentions of conceding to a 155 fight with a little extra money coming his way after negotiations are complete. And by the way this contradicts his original stance which was that he didn't care about Cotto that all he wants is the belt.

You people are so obsessed with the whole "duckin" scenario as ya call it, that it's hard for ya to take the blinders off.

Guess what.... even with no belt GGG STILL wants a fight with Cotto. All this time, he's been leading ya lil'g fans to believe that all this time all he wanted to do was unify belts :
If Cotto beats Canelo, GGG will be awarded the WBC belt and Cotto will still be the Ring and lineal MW champion.

So GGG vs Cotto, at any weight between 154 and 160, would still be a MW unification fight, and attract a huge audience world wide. GGG vs Lemieux was televised in over 120 countries.

It's very possible that Golovkin would give Cotto a catchweight for a fight that big, but not 154.

If he beats Canelo, I have no doubt GGG would fight Cotto at 155 pounds. I also have no doubt Cotto would not fight Golovkin at 155 pounds, 154 pounds, nor any other weight. It's clear he isn't interested. That's fine. It would have been nice though if Cotto didn't play the game of pretending like he cared about the belt he won from Sergio for the past year or so, which would have made things a lot easier for everyone else, but Cotto wanted to use that belt that he says means nothing to him as leverage over Canelo.

He has to bend over for Cotto at this point. He needs to kick cottos az to get that PPV stardom he so seems that or Canelo but your question is for Cotto. If he doesn't thn he can be satisfied with under 100k PPV
