    They failed.
The Klitschko's are probably worth several hundred million dollars. Even if the event did lose a few hundred grand (which is doubtful considering the live gate and foreign sales), I doubt it will keep them up at night.......

      Excuse me;

GGG said he fights at Middleweight AND Super Middleweight.
GGG was willing to fight BOTH Froch and Chavez Jr at Super Middleweight.

No one said he HAS to move up, they are just holding him accountable for what HE HAS SAID. Is it really moving up if the man himself has SAID he fights at Super Middleweight?

Oh please..... outta here with that.
List one fight he fought at 168. Whike you're at it, link me to where andre ward beat a klitschko, since we aew holding people accoutable for what they say.

        You have it all twisted:

When GGG (or Abel / Loeffler) says something, it MUST be put into action within 24 hours or its clearly a duck

When Ward says something, its simply an "aspirational statement" that is not meant to be taken literally.

        Got it? lol

If Canelo wins, he will fight GGG sooner rather than later. The mexican fans will demand it and he will soon grow out of the latinovagina 155 lb division.

I don't think anyone is worried about that. We're worried that he's learned too much from Floyd - he's gonna let the fight marinate for 18 months, then fight a tuneup, then negotiate for half a year. Before you know it, we're talking about a May 2019 fight when Golovkin's 37 and Canelo is 28.

Oh, so now you want to flip it?

I don't a **** what Andre Ward says. Why are you even bringing him up? What does he have to do with ANYTHING I said? Feeling out of options? Know your arguments are full of ****?

Let me leave it like this:

GGG himself says he fights at SMW:
There is no chance that [I will go to] 155-pounds for a fight Canelo, the division [limit] is 160 pounds, this is my [weight] class. I am a fighter, I do not come to do business. I fight at middleweight or super middleweight.
WBA/IBO/IBF middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (34-0, 31KOs) will not consider the possibility of a catch-weight bout with Saul "Canelo" Alvarez - if the Mexican star defeats WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto on November 21 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Golovkin also holds the WBC's interim-championship and he is the mandatory challenger to Cotto's world title. The World Boxing Council has ordered the Cotto-Canelo winner to face Golovkin next.

His "fans" says he doesn't fight at SMW.

Who should I listen to regarding this? The guy talking about himself? Or some fans on the internet who have never met him?

GGG fans know more about the man than he knows about himself......

Y'all so ******. Just stop talking.

Well since Roc Nation is predicting the number of buys for Cotto-Canelo to be "between 1 and 2 million, but closer to 2 million", when it only does 750k I guess it will be a total failure, huh?

During a recent media conference call, Hall-of-Fame boxer-turned-promoter Oscar de la Hoya insisted that the November 21 showdown between Miguel Cotto and Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez will sell more than 1.5 million units for their HBO Pay-Per-View headliner at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The driving belief behind that claim stems from the potential for all-out warfare between the two boxing superstars, but also – as de la Hoya insists – Alvarez’ massive drawing power. The 25-year old former super welterweight champ serves as the face of boxing for his native Mexico, which has historically boasted among the most passionate fan bases in the sport.
