Ronda doesn't need to try and beat Holm at her own game

She doesn't need an offensive minded Roach as much as she needs stand up defense

But honestly I don't think Rousey can beat Holm.

Holm not only beat her standing up but also overpowered Ronda whenever she tried to take her down

If Ronda got her to the ground in side control she'd do well. The problem is Ronda is a judoka, she hasn't even learned how to shoot from the outside or effective double or even single legs which tend to work on boxers.

The problem is the months in between now and a rematch aren't long enough for Ronda to fill in those skill gaps in order to keep Holm on the mat.

I'm damn curious to see how Ronda approaches the rematch. I don't know how she wins that fight. I thought she would use more wrestling, rather than judo, because she doesn't have to get as close to do it and walk through all of those punches, but I just listened to her ex talk about her having bad knees, so she can't really wrestle.

I think the rematch may be a pretty boring fight with her afraid to commit to anything - or the exact same thing will happen again. Good for Holly.
