Ok. I hope you're right cos you're going to look a proper tit if Joshua doesn't deliver.
    But that's exactly what I didn't say

I just quoted my post. I said I wouldn't be sure they beat him now, but I don't think they would in 2017.

    If I'm wrong I'm wrong. It's fine.

But you're trying to create something that isn't there.

"He was stopped in the amateurs doe" Ridiculous.

But weren't you also singing Price's praises before he got proven to be a plumber after all?

I guess some people don't learn.
I still like David Price. Good man. But obviously he turned out to be much worse than I thought he would.

But I never thought Price was as talented as Joshua. Ever.

The difference between us two is that you want someone to be crap so you can say: "i told you so". Which is just cringe.

The signs aren't great to be honest.

If big Dillian Whyte lands on his chin, Femi is going to sleep.
        Which video?

        • I want Joshua to be good. I think he can be good. Certainly have more faith in him than Price.

I just have legitimate questions about him.

Which it apparently offends you to ask.

          • Joshua looks good from what I've seen, but he needs to step up and fight contenders I'm not sure how he'd do against a quality opponent, but as it stands if i had to put my money on somebody to take over after glad then it would be Joshua.

At the moment though Wlad handles him easily ... if a healthy david haye does come back I reckon he takes Joshua out ... I'd favor Povetkin over him at the moment (maybe not in a year or two) Fury would be interesting, due to Fury having more experience at higher levels and Wilder ... hmm I dunno I'd actually favor Joshua in that.

            • Joshua hasn't shown many things.

The ability to go rounds (stamina)
The ability to fight on the back-foot
              Fighting under pressure
              Defence
              Head Movement
              Punch Resistance
              Good footwork

I mean all he's really shown is that he hits hard and can knock out joiners and postmen. That's literally it.

I don't agree with him moving in straight lines and I don't know why people say he's stiff. It's like you want him to be David Price.
He's not a big stiff idiot like David Price but he's far from fluid.

In that Amateur fight against Nistor from 11:00 onwards.

His legs do a little dance when he gets hit and then a bit later when he falls into the ropes, when he's getting counted he looks very unsteady on his feet.

He did well to stay up but he didn't exactly handle those shots very well and those were in head gear.

Nobody could deny that the signs are not great in terms of him being able to take a shot. I'm happy to be proven wrong, but somehow i don't think i will be. I'm not sure Whyte is the man to do it.

If Whyte does land one clean though, i expect big ol' biscuit chin Joshua to go down. I know the amateurs were a long time ago but people like Khan and Price were shown to be chinny in the amateurs and that carried through to the pro's, Joshua will go the same way. Some people are just like that, it is what it is.

Too much hype without proving anything. You would have thought people would have learned their lesson with Price. There's actually nothing to really suggest Joshua is any better, just speculation. No proof.

                  • When Joshua fights legit competition, then we can accurately judge his "skill-set".
Beating up on plummers and guys who play darts at the local?

As far as the highlighted ones are concerned anyway it's because he hasn't had to ... doesn't mean he can't do it. Like I said I'm not sold on him at all but, established guys aside I don't see too many better prospects out there at the moment. It's nice to try and predict who might be the champ in a few years BEFORE they are the finished, polished article rather than sitting on the fence saying 'unproven' and then just saying I told you so when however many prospects fail to make it imo. I mean anybody can do that and by default 9 times out of 10 you're bound to be right.
