Wasn't Joshua dropped and stopped as an amateur?

I'm very much looking forward to the day Joshua gets knocked out.

The hype he has is ridiculous.

He could definitely go 12 rounds with any version of Chisora.
He hasn't shown he could go rounds with anyone let alone a guy who took the likes of Vitali Klitschko, David Haye and Tyson Fury rounds but ok.

        Slurp slurp.

I'm not sure actually. I know Whyte dropped him. With Price it was more of a running joke, most people in the game knew he was chinny.

...was stopped by aggressive Romanian southpaw Mihai Nistor after receiving several standing counts.
There's a poster on here Mik-something-ends-in-o who said there's a couple Eastern European amateurs that also gave Joshua a beating. Either way I don't believe Joshua has a great chin, something that hasn't been touched on, literally, since turning pro.

            Just googled it...

He actually takes a couple of fairly huge shots at the end and doesn't go down.

I think he was stopped on his feet once. Not 100% I asked in another thread and I think that was the answer.

I know he was dropped multiple times.

His chin defintely has a question mark on it for me.

What happened to his previous trainer? I mean he did throw a tripod on his head...

Yeah he took them rounds and took a beating simultaneously. Or I mean, he took Haye 5 rounds.

Joshua is much more aggressive than either of those guys anyway, and as I said, there's no way someone as limited as Chisora could ever cause Joshua problems.

He was stopped once. Against Nistor in the European championships. He was knocked into the ropes and wanted to continue. Didn't fall.

If you watch that fight, he catches multiple hard left hooks straight on the chin, so the whole chin issue is a bit strange for me. He also proved he could get off the canvas a couple of times in his first or second amateur fight vs Whyte.

Chin issues are when fighters do a chicken dance ala Price from soft shots or go down out of nowhere.

Saying someone has a question mark around his chin when he caught a left hook from olympus in an amateur fight and didn't even go down is a funny one. especially at super heavyweight.

I don't know if he has chin issues though. But I do know he didn't have any defense 1-2 years into his amateur campaign.

Because Joshua has proven himself against multi-talented opposition already.
