Already told here that the Ring board already ruled that they will strip the Cotto/Canelo winner if he fails to fight Golovkin next.Comment

Uhm, nope. Cotto should. He paid off his mandatory (GGG) in order to fight a guy that Golovkin has already beaten. That had nothing to do with WBC.
Now he's refusing a 300k sanctioning fee, which is about (10m guarantee+~16% of PPV profit=~~another 5m) 0.3/15 = 2% of his purse.
I agree with WBC - this was just plain greed by Cotto's camp. He was either going to lose the belt or vacate it, so he chose not to play by the rules because it suited him.Comment

They were ILLEGAL!!! That's the whole point. He tried to cheat got caught. He fights the guy that cotto beat and he's supposed to be scared or confused or whatever excuse they wanna use and that's why those inserts where found... and i'm supposed to believe he didn't try that in any of his previous fights?
once a cheater always a cheater.

Wtf last week you got banned for saying "you're white and that's why you support Golovkin because he's white-skinned and white power supremacy"
Now this week you're Puerto Rican..

He should be able to.... he hasn't paid it yet cuz of course the fight hasn't happened yet so that means the money technically isn't there yet

It's not about agreeing or not with WBC -- when one fights under their rulings they know very well what they have to do; because they already complied with those rules... Cotto simply wanted out of 160 after Canelo and that's it. I don't blame him.Uhm, nope. Cotto should. He paid off his mandatory (GGG) in order to fight a guy that Golovkin has already beaten.
