He needs to defeat Postol, Bradley and Pacquiao clearly(KO or wide UD) before he became a star. If he did all that next year, Americans will support him big time. He has a pleasing style too. And probably, most of the black Americans who supports Floyd will support him too (since Floyd is retired).

I think defeating Pacquiao alone at this stage of his career is not enough.

Pacquiao was selling around Cotto/Canelo PPV numbers when he defeated Oscar and follows it up with impressive wins (Hatton and Cotto).

Said he was a star. And indeed he was. He was selling 300-400K PPV's before Oscar.

He has a long way to go. People forget that Pac made his name with Barrera and Morales, not Oscar. I don't know if that leap can happen overnight with one fight. Stars have to be built.

If he beats him its a starting point for sure, still a decent win, but its what he does after which determines him becoming a star, plenty of good fights at 140-47.

Manny has been shot for a while now.

Bu gym id say it would get him on the map and push him in the right direction.

I really think TC should fight algeiri in africa
And postol in new york if he were to beat manny which he should easier than most Think.

After that. Go to the uk and beat brook and come home and fight ortiz in stub hub, followed by a tune up in oklahoma vs jesse vargas.

Thats a good 2 years of putting your name on the map and becoming a star. Fight in vegas from then on out
