Doubtful. Just like Mosley beating Oscar didn't make him a big star.

Manny was selling PPV's before Oscar. He was already a star.

It depends. If he beats Pacquiao legitimately he has a chance. It would certainly boost his career up a notch.

If it's a robbery win, "passing of the torches" bull****, like with Bradley, I don't think so.

BUT, if he does win fair and square (I give him a chance), I hope he fights Bradley next. I think that would be an awesome fight.

I don't know man. I liked Oscar de la Hoya from the get go, before he was considered a star. He just had that quality. I remember seeing him in the Paul Rodriguez Show on Univision in 1992, before his first pro-fight. I liked Pacquiao since the first time I saw him, before he was a star. He just had that quality. I hated Mayweather since the first time I saw him fight Goyo Vargas. He just had that thing about him. I don't see that in Crawford. He's a really good fighter, I just find him blah.

He is already a star and if he beats Pacquiao he would be an even bigger star of course. I think Pacquiao will knock him out as his going away present fight. I base this on the fact that Crawford is very aggressive and he will probably come at Pacquiao hard. He can be hit and he can be hurt as he was when he KOed Gamboa. Pacquiao is much bigger, stronger and tougher than Gamboa and he punches harder than Gamboa. Crawford beat a very good boxer when he beat Gamboa but he beat a natural featherweight. Pacquiao is now a very strong 140 pounder with tons of experience. I think he hurts Crawford when Crawford is on the attack and then finishes him off. Crawford has the power and skills to KO Pacquiao but I'll bet on the far more proven Pacquiao even at age 36.
