I have to agree. Holm is far too skilled to lose to Rousey, she's not going to get caught by those slow windmills and she'll just continue to beat Rousey up on the outside.

I find it funny that some people are attacking Ali's career simply because she's correct. People need to stop being fans and accept the truth. I'm sure Rousey will bounce back, but putting her at the top without her proving it made Saturday night inevitable. She was breathing with her mouth wide open before the first round was over, and all she'd really done up to that point was follow Holm around getting clobbered :/

Rousey got her nose busted and was made to look like she never spent time in the octagon before. For all of her dominant take down game and world class Judo, Holm still did better in the grappling department. Ali was on point with her assessment, and was pretty classy about it too.

The people who are saying that Ronda doesn't deserve a rematch only say it because they're afraid Holm will lose.

They literally have no clue who else besides Ronda should get a shot, they just know it shouldn't be RR.

Where theirs a will theirs a way, MMA has a lot more to it than stand up its a matter of Rousey dealing with Holm jab and movement the thing is it only takes one take-down when your ground game is as strong as Ronda's.

I think Rousey focused too heavily on wanting to be an aggressor just plodding forward wanting to impose her will on Holm but it didn't work and obviously it didn't get to the point where RR would have adopted plan B or C in the rematch I think it will be an entirely different fight as I said earlier MMA has so many different elements to it.

Rousey got dominated. It wasn't like Ali-Frazier I. It was just a straight up domination. No one is afraid Holm will lose after that performance lol.

Ali's point is she didn't just lose, sure many greats lose. But how many so called greatest of alltime were completely destroyed and busted up like that in their prime? It wasn't a one lucky shot flash KO. It wasn't a close fight where she just got edged out by the judges. It was a total domination, bloody one sided @ss whooping until she got KO'd. I'm not a fan of MMA but as fight fan Ali has a point. That type of loss in your prime takes you out of any greatest of alltime discussion which everyone tried to put Ronda in prior to this fight.

I think it goes worse too, Holm clearly demonstrated she was the better fighter and Rousey now understands that. I'm sure Ronda's sitting somewhere chatting with Dana White about damage control, and she's coming to the conclusion that she isn't the baddest female on the planet, she can't beat a man, and she isn't as cute as she thought she was. A rematch with Holm may mean her revenue stream dries up completely. The "Media" is the ultimate dream factory, they can convince dumb people of anything. Look what they did with Rousey.

I bet Ronda's scratching that sweet little sore head of hers wondering where the ******* of hate is originating from....

Laila Ali is a nobody who accomplished nothing fighting patsies and easy fights few people saw anyway. Woman boxing is nothing and no one ever saw any women boxing worth a hoot on TV. 10 fans max for all of woman boxing.

She looked chubby, clumsy and like a drunk redneck going after her husbands side piece.

Holm looked strong, relaxed and in great shape, she was a class act.

For me, it would do more for the profile of MMA to promote a positive image of Holly Holm than Rousey. The sport needs to move away from the beer drinking morons that it is sometimes (wrongly) associated with.

To be honest, Ronda's trash talking is just cringe worthy, she sounds like a high school cheerleader on the very worst day of her menstrual cycle.
