I believe edvander is an uncle tom based on other things he does however if he thinks GGG is #1 then that's just his opinion... maybe its actually what he thinks.

That's what happens when two sides actually both want a fight which was not the case with Ward and GGG.
except that Kovalev doesnt have to give up anything. He stays in his current division, and fights 2 more times. And if the Ward fight happens, fine, and if it doesnt, thats fine also. He's not missing any mandos or anything. It does not change his career plan........

Based on accomplishments PAC should still be #1 (at least for the time he has left), and lol at anyone who says Floyd "whooped his azz". He ran, held, stunk out the joint fighting scared, and barely even edged him(debatable), whoopdeedoo. The results of that fiasco are still inconclusive to most fight fans. I won't even get into the whole IV/corruption mess. Nobody got whooped or dominated in that fight, period. TBE doe masterclassboxinglesson blah blah blah DOE.

After PAC retires, the Eastern Block will take over.
        Kovalev, GGG, Lomachenko, Beterbiev, etc.

        The Prophet has spoken.

Why the hell does GGG need to fight mandos? The Cotto-Canelo winner would prove he's the best at MW so the only logical step would be to move up. There would be nothing left for him to prove at MW.

he has to fight mandos because whether or not YOU think it is important, one of his main career goals has always been to unify the middleweight division. And GGG could not fight Ward and keep his IBF title. He would not have enough time to do his mando before being stripped, and the IBF only allows delaying a mando in the event of a unification. A Ward fight is not a unification.

And to top it off, a Ward fight does not offer the kind of money that makes it worthwhile for someone to change their career path.

Canelo/Cotto winner is a unification. After that, there would be no reason for him to stay at middleweight.

Ward would be a bigger, more lucrative fight than anyone left at 160.

and that's YOUR opinion. He believes fighting the Lee-Saunders winner and fully unifying 160 is a worthwhile endeavor.

Evander is entitled to his opinion. He doesn't seem to have all his faculties. If he can form this opinion knowing GGG's resume, then maybe his mental capacity is far more diminished then any of us realized.
