It's boxing, not the end of the world. It might not even live up to expectations, see TBE-Pac, live does not depend on one fight.

I know one thing. When Ward retires he would NEVER make it as a promoter.

Presumably if he did that he could be sued for breach of contract - unless injured - ... oh !?

            The truth stings.
You really are a tool. I bet you sit on a throne in the tool shed. King of the tools.

People with an adult IQ are able to be a fan of one boxer yet comment on perceived rivals without insulting or trolling. That seems to be waaaaaay beyond you.

            Now be off with You!

Back to your throne in the tool shed. And while you are there practice on a few IQ tests - they say IQ can be lifted a few notches if you practice enough - although I suspect you may be the exception to the rule.

That's a sobering thought. This is my biggest complaint with being a boxing fan - the fights that ought to get made don't and even when they do get made it takes for ever. I am OK with Ward fighting Kov in say fall of next year - but the way Ward is talking now it doesn't look promising.

Boxing fans are looking forward to this fight.

All I did was point out that it's the usual suspects and names that pop up in these threads hoping this fight doesn't happen.

                Obviously hit a nerve.

Didn't read the article- but this is the best fight in boxing.

                  Easy work Kovalev, no doubt.

And Golovkin can remain un******ed at 160.

I don't see a problem here, everyone should be happy.
What are these 'tune-ups' for. I have heard everything from shaking off the rust (kind of get that) to working out the kinks. What does working out the kinks mean? Getting your timing back?

Wouldn't you think it'd make sense to have 2-3, or however many is needed tune-ups in rapid succession?

Otherwise you get rust building up on rust, kinks forming on kinks.

This is why I am skeptical about Ward and his tune-ups - well at least to how effective they are. Seems like the only think they are effective for is adding another $2 million to Ward's bank balance.
