I would say Mayweather at 130-135 when he was dropping guys and throwing combinations. Don't think I've seen a fighter with such a perfect balance of offence and defense. I literately cannot think of a floor he had at those weights.
Prime Ray Leonard pretty much ticks all the boxes.
Good height and reach for a welterweight
Blazing fast
Very good puncher
Great killer instinct against top opposition
Underrated Body puncher
Good inside fighting
Complete punch repertoire
Can fight 15 tough rounds
I agree. Sometimes it makes me sad when I think that we are not able to see him in his prime fighting the best of this generation that we have had. There would have been some great fights to have
ray robinson. he had all time great power, speed, and a chin.
he was often wide open, but arguably the best chin and power of all time made up for it.
he had one punch power with single shots, but he's also the best combination puncher i've ever seen. great body puncher. great uppercuts. maybe the best left hook ever. just a great, great offensive fighter.
and again, when your offense is that good, and you have the best chin ever, you can get away with getting hit once or twice.
he was also close to 6 ft and had a 6 ft reach as a WW, which was very big in the 40's.

Agreed! Roy Jones had the best left hook ever in my opinion though.
