if it's true that cotto has a minimum guarantee of $10m and alvarez $6.5m, then i guess what they are actually expecting, pr aside, is 600k-700k, which sounds reasonable in my opinion

This fight will do over 1 mil PPV

I don't see how this fight won't do over 1 mil buys. Biggest fight to be made by two big stars in the sport. I think almost 1 mil although free just watched Rios and Bradley which I take nothing away from those guys. That same group will pay to see Cotto Canelo and then some. So I'm going with 1.2 million PPV buys as a very good number to go with. Hopefully for both camps it does more.

This is a huge fight, no doubt about it, and if this was any year besides 2015 it would do a million.

But because of streaming and the May-Paq disaster I think it will do like 750k.

Still a great number but we don't know how expensive the whole even is costing.
