1) If Oscar used fishnets he didn't do no wrong to anyone, that's personal. Being addict to coke is a personal issue. If anyone, he harmed himself doing that. I'd prefer ten times being managed by an ex addict bisexual, than a woman beater. What do you prefer?
2) He complains that boxing is dying? that is no longer mainstream as before? well HE is one of the most responsible persons for that. ****** mother****er this guy. If you find three persons that have harmed boxing the most in the last 20 years, Floyd Mayweather appears on that list for sure.

If that's what the casuals feel about the most seen fight in the history of boxing, what do you expect?
If you are allowed to make your opponent change gloves because he hits too hard, isn't that killing boxing?
Being able to bend the rules for you just because you are a multi millionaire, doesn't kill boxing?
Being able to take illegal blood infusions and give a notice 20 days later, what about it?
Boxing is not reasonable, and Mayweather is not the only man to hurt it, but he has played a big roll in it. He should STFU because he doesn't care about boxing, he only cares about his money.
People want ACTION.
When clinching becames the protagonist of a fight, people get bored. Mayweather, Klitschko, Ward, Postol now... all clinch champions. Ban the clinch and you will see ACTION.Last edited by _Maxi; 11-10-2015, 09:14 PM.

I'm big into MMA but it hurts the integrity of The Ring when they go for the money grab by putting an FMMA fighter with no boxing credentials on their cover. Holy Holm would have been understandable but using Rhonda is clearly just riding the hype train and hurting The Ring's shaky rep. What's next, Beiber because he walked out w/ Floyd?

Mayweather is right and the decision to put Rousey on the front cover of the magazine shows how little faith they have in their own product and that they don't believe in what they are selling the audience.
1. In light of Rousey's success, The Ring Magazine could have presented the question of what role women can play in boxing, using their magazine as a means to promote and discuss the competition in women's boxing.
2. The magazine was released soon after Golovkin v Lemieux. It was a fight that was being hyped up; you would think that the winner of the fight would appear on the front cover. You'd think that they would place focus on the divisions surrounding Middleweight; discuss its history and potential future. You know, take steps to show the division is something you actually respect.
When you put Rousey on the front of the magazine, you're pretty much telling casuals that she is more important than anything else in boxing. That essentially undermines the promotion for other fights.
I know that people hate Mayweather, but this really isn't about him. It concerns every active boxer in the sport.

You need an abundance of talent to save any sport and boxing simply doesn't have it. Mayweather and Pacquiao were see as the sports last true superstars but when the fight happened they were not a good match for each other style wise and they were simply past their prime by that point.
P.S. clinching has always been a part of boxing. Muhammad ALi once clinched 18 times in one round, May vs Pac had 18 clinches in the entire FIGHT! So dont blame it on clinching.Last edited by Johnwoo8686; 11-10-2015, 09:29 PM.
