You have a great point and overall you're right but it's somewhat different in Mayweaher's case. He and De La Hoya know each other up close and personal and have a history of bad blood. Meanwhile Broner was simply running his mouth about someone he doesn't truly know anything about.

Oscar De La Hoya really is a POS.

De La Hoya was accused in a lawsuit of **** in 1998. The lawsuit, filed in San Bernardino (Calif.) County Superior Court, alleged that De La Hoya ****d a woman, who was 15 at the time, in a hotel room in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in June 1996.^[35] The case was settled out of court in 2001.^[36]
