So Mayweather says pressure to push Ward up is part of a Caucasian conspiracy, then demands the Caucasian, Golovkin move up to get knocked out by the brother Ward. Shrewd.
He also appears to think Manny Pacquiao was also Caucasian, which is why they were pressuring Floyd into taking a fight with him.
Damn for such a defensive genius as Floyd it sure seems like he has suffered a great deal of brain damage in his career.Comment

He was not hyped above any African American fighter to downplay them. He was THE middleweight champion of the world. He earned the right to publicity. No one was trying to make him the biggest fighter in the world over Mayweather or another black fighter because he was white.Comment

Floyd Mayweather Jr. (49-0, 26KOs) was a controversial figure for much of his career, and he continues to generate headlines in his retirement.
Mayweather voiced a strong opinion on the current landscape in boxing, explaining what he believes to be a certain level of favoritism, at least politically, when it comes to certain races and ethnicities.

Joe Calzaghe.....they tried to make him beating a washed up Roy Jones and Hopkins the best thing since sliced bread, but when these dudes were at their prime Hopkins(160) and Jones at 168 and 175 until the early 2000s, he was happy in Europe fighting mis-mandatories
He knew and his team knew Roy was gonna **** him up 2003 and earlier.
Get this sht outta here.
By the way, you should go see how far apart RJJ and Joe are in age before you call one of them 'washed up'.Comment

I can see a little bit where it may appear to be an oxymoron...he's saying the media won't pressure GGG and he's right...but they pressured Ward...so instead of the media doing it's job...he'll do it for them and state the obvious...Ward moving up has nothing to do with greatness...he's just saying GGG won't be great until he beats Ward @168...it's a given he'll kick anybody's ass at 160...how long will it take to unify belts though with all the politics?...I don't see GGG moving up to 168 until 2017...unless it's a non-ward fight...Comment

They hyped him like crazy BEFORE he even won his belts, especially leading up to his fight with Jermain Taylor. When he was in MW, they were acting like this guy was feared and no one was willing to come DOWN in weight to face him. Really? Come DOWN in weight? Joke.
The fight with B-Hop crystallized the hype behind this guy. The way the media went after B-Hop, tried to make him seem like some played out joke and that Pavlik would crucify him. You only have to listen to he way that fight was called and what B-Hop did at the end of the fight to see how he felt in regards to the coverage of that fight.
His hype was a joke.Comment
