Glazkov is about the same size and reach as Povetkin and has a solid chin.

Jennings was Wilder mandatory after Wilder beat Stiverne. Up to now Glazkov was Klitschko's mandatory for one of his titles, I guess Wilder is paying Klitschko back, eh?

        Stealing one of his mandatories.

I'd expect wilder to come through it but he actually has a decent opponent here.

He has similar dimensions and is from the Russian amateur background.

Glazkov for instance also helped Mariusz Wach prepare for Povetkin, in sparring.

Even russians/ukrainians don't believe that Glazkov gonna defeat Wilder.
              But they trust Povetkin...

While he's not great, he's better than the guys Wilder usually fights.
Hopefully Povetkin happens for sure in 2016. That's a solid fight.

Is he still with Main Events? I thought Duva thought Haymon was the devil? Respect if Duva is finally willing to do business with Haymon & PBC. Good move for her & her fighters.

Interesting fight & a move up for Wilder if it becomes official.

While Vyacheslav Glazkov is a decent opponent and a major step up in competition compared to Wilder's last two voluntary defenses, many feel that he struggled and even lost to Steve Cunningham in their recent bout and Cunningham isn't regarded as a hard hitting puncher like Deontay Wilder.

He can pull the upset off If he doesn't get clipped clean, its a hard fight for both men its a step up from Wilder but I still think its a waste of time...
Wilder should be fighting Povetkin stop time wasting in other words.
