Same I don't think this is a good prep for Povetkin the fights that would be good for getting you ready for Povetkin would maybe be a Chisora or Pulev type of fight not a guy who hardly has any snap on his punch and wont want to engage inside action.

Glazkov is very well thought of by the boxing establishment although I'm not sure he really is worthy of all the hype. But universally he is thought to be a top 10 contender. And an excellent warm-up for Povetkin..

Nice step up...but time for the main course...can't wait for the povetkin match up to see what wilder is made of...we know povetkin can turn his lights out at anytime during that fight...wilders chin will be tested in this fight...sasha is hitting hard...

          Glazkov sucks. Easy work Wilder.

          Definitely Wilder's best opponent, though

agreed. i think he beats both. still, those guys were big and had very solid chins, and styles make fights.

glasgov looks like his chin is fine, but we'll see how he handles the power coming downhill. he's also going to give up about 8-10 inches in reach. his arms arent' all that long for a pro boxer. i think he's going to get absolutely killed.

This is a significant improvement from the garbage he has been fighting. I expect Wilder to win but he better not fight like he did his last 2 outings or he will be in big trouble.

Glazkov is a step up in competition, but like you guys said before I think he is average at best.i watched a couple of his fights, like agsinst Rossy and Scott and I think he lost both of those fights although awared the decision. He also doesn't seem to have a lot of power compared to other guys in the division.although he seems to have a solid chin,i still think Wilder is going to catch him at one point and eventually stop him.

That was my first thought too. Is Czar still with ME? If he is and ME are talking with Uncle Al it could be a good sign for future negotiations regarding matches between Kovalev and Haymons LHW stable.

EDIT: Oh yeah, Glazkov.... nearly forgot about him, but then that's cos he's very forgetable. A bit of a step up for the Bomber but still very winnable.

glazkov lacks fire. hes just too medicore. but i dont mind this fight.
wilder will fight a ranked fighter and glazkov doesnt sit on his ass to a wladimir klitschko shot.

This fight will say a lot about how Povetkin-Wilder goes.

Wilder by KO. I really want to see how well he keeps distance and out of range, both fighters have the same reach, "75 and are very similar fighters.

The last time Wilder fought a guy with that short of a reach was Gavern, '76. His last couple of opponents have had much longer reaches. Wilder needs to dominate with his jab.
