There's a difference between belief (especially when those beliefs are coming from a rabid cancerous fanbase who don't like Andre Ward) and reality.

When you post something as a fact the way that HeroBando and Freedom do, you should be able to provide factual evidence.

Using common sense, one could come to the realisation that it's eminently possible that there wasn't enough money to pay a legit LHW contender considering what the 3 main players on the card were making. A cheap bum was always more likely.

It could also be that Gonzalez was offered the fight and turned it down over a short purse. Or that it just wasn't viable for that card.

Again....zero proof Ward turned down the fight so why post it as fact?

- he also recently said that he was forced to move up,

- brand is a smw but the fight was scheduled to have place at lhw

now let's use common sense: gonzales is de facto undefeated, is a legit lhw and posseses a slight challenge due to his power. hardly a tune up.

Gonzalez is the only credible guy hbo has to offer ward outside of Kovalev and pascal.

No I found multiple ones, one of whom I consider reliable. Then I looked at other evidence, like who they extended offers to, and applied common sense.

So who do you think was acceptable to HBO, and how did they fall out, what's your guess? We know Smith didn't meet their standards already
