You're on the brink of tapping out like Team GGG now so I will just throw it in the garbage with all the other lies and half-truths you've posted.
You never answered though, who'd be acceptable to HBO and how did they fall out of contention?

    • as usual, dirk's picking on irrelevant details and thinks he's winning the thread

let him have his fun, guys.

the fact is, ward's possible opponents that we know of were brand, dunn and rohan or whatever his name was.

given the fact that he wanted to fight them and his recent comments, it's not that crazy to believe that the guy who had fight with alexander brand already scheduled, refused to fight a legit lhw contender in gonzales.

Of course but he's very invested and facing reality is painful when your guy needs multiple tuneups for stiff prospect/contender, and guy you obsessively hate on doesn't need tuneups for UKs best, HOF Froch

There's a difference between belief (especially when those beliefs are coming from a rabid cancerous fanbase who don't like Andre Ward) and reality.

When you post something as a fact the way that HeroBando and Freedom do, you should be able to provide factual evidence.

Using common sense, one could come to the realisation that it's eminently possible that there wasn't enough money to pay a legit LHW contender considering what the 3 main players on the card were making. A cheap bum was always more likely.

It could also be that Gonzalez was offered the fight and turned it down over a short purse. Or that it just wasn't viable for that card.

Again....zero proof Ward turned down the fight so why post it as fact?

          • That means he'd have to pull out of his fight he already has

                Cause its

                1. Backed by the best available evidence. No evidence to the contrary whatsoever
                2. It's more plausible anyway.

But precious you'd be so steadfast on proof, 97k

No, it's called being able to read... try it out

If he wants to fight Ward off a little over a month, then more power to him
