Take it easy with them, for they have never seen a prime Mayweather, Roy Jones, or Pernel Whitaker fight, even though the clips are there on youtube. I more impress by Rigo than Loma. Loma was making too many mistakes trying to do his trickeries the other night. Too bad that the mexican caught him out of position, but didn't have the power to hurt him. Try that with Rigo, Walters or Donaire and he will be in deep ish.

Nothing wrong with what he's doing but don't go all fanboy and pretend he's got it all. He clearly is Malanagi-level in terms of power
          1. For Loma, There is a balance to be struck between powerful offensiveness and speed and defense. He has not yet found that balance. But I see flashes of potential that he can blast guys out, given the proper technique. What works in the ams to score points where a kd is scored differently and severity of punches landed is not taken into account at all unless there is a stoppage or 8 count... will not work in the pro ranks.

Again..he has the pedigree to adjust. Just give him the time.

          2. No way shape or form is he as feather fisted as Magic Man. That's a blatant exaggeration.

He fouled Loma a lot (not just one of two fouls but more than you can actually allow even in a pro fight)
Salido was on ***** street on the closing rounds.
It was Lomachenko's 2nd f@cking pro fight (8th if you really consider the BS WSB from AIBA as a real pro fight)
Doesn't change the fact that Lomachenko is very susceptible to the right hand, body shots and the fact that he can't fight on the inside. All that tells me is that he's overhyped.

              Rigo would body lomachenko.

Lomachenko doesn't have power. Rigo's left hand is deadly. That's the gamebreaker.

Rigondeaux is one of the greatest I have ever seen. He is the most overlooked and underrated fighter of our era.

I'd love for him to prove otherwise but I don't praise boxers for things I want them to do, or that I think they can do. He needs to show it before he gets the credit. Just like every other guy who looks brilliant before they have a real fight.

Where WE get some small amount of credit, however, is in our predictive powers... Our ability to assess talent. See if he doesn't sit on that right hook later and get ko's with it. It's there for him.

Lol, ok. Unless you have some sort of predictive resume you're just sounding goofy. No one predicts consistently in this game. Not even the most revered coaches, analysts, etc. Things change, lifestyles change, injuries happen, etc. The fun is making the predictions and seeing what takes place. Saying that you get credit for predictions that haven't come to fruition yet is just bizarre..
Be patient, man. I happen to believe that he will evolve as a fighter. We're not so different. You're just jumping the gun a little, or a lot. We'll see .

Yeah, Rigo is the greatest...as long as the opponent doesn't make him take the lead
