That is actually about as unprofessional as saying that your fighter's wife dresses like a slut.

That really was indefensible, Bob Arum should be ashamed of himself.

That kind of behavior accurately defines the character of a man.
Look it's not right he did it but it happens, considering Arum has been around for decades and this was the first time he went public to trash one of his fighters it screams of how much shhhh the man had to swallow before he spat it back out. Arum dropping the stock on one of his own fighters was a clear sign of it, was it wrong? Yes, can be argued it was but again considering the mans history it SCREAMS of how horrible dealing with Rigo and Caribe actually is. Hell Arum never went anywhere near that level of h.a.m on Floyd.

The hate on Rigondeaux is ridiculous. Sad thing is Rigo is ancient, will probably lose due to so much inactivity and everybody on here will be delighted haha. But let's see.....

Last night I heard HBO slurping on Lomochenko nuts about how he should be considered P4P and is the future of boxing........ Come on man. He can't punch, he can't sell worth a lick as well and his fights are boring. The fight on the undercard of mayweather-Pacquaio and last nights fight were unwatchable after the 3rd round I didn't even bother to watch the all mighty Lomochenko.

How can a fighter like Lomochenko who really doesn't have KO power and it takes him to KO tomato cans late in fights worth a P4P mention??

Last time I check Rigo beat Donaire who at the time was top
5 p4p and fighter of the year. What has Lomochenko done??? KO Puerto Rican mechanic and Mexican sushi roller??

Boxing politics got your minds clutter with crap.

I agree with you that Caribe also fk'd Rigo.

Did Mayweather have KO power ?

" power " has nothing to do with P4P.

Actually, technically resume has little to do with P4P either.

It is a valid factor worth giving consideration, but not much more.

Unproven/untested guys often win once they step up especially if they are elite, ALL of the top P4P fighters did.

It comes down to how good you are, and most insiders can see that Lomachenko is special.

I don't like the HBO model, never have. I do not support HBO, Merchant and Lampley are simply fkn awful. In saying that..... HBO are correct on this one imho.

I could be proven wrong, but I think that Lomachenko is one of the very best fighters in the world..... hes a cracker, and the best of the current crop of eastern-bloc boxers.

I currently rank Kovalev higher, because as you pointed out having good names on your resume adds that proven factor, but moreso because of what Kovalev is doing to those opponents..... and the same goes for Golovkin who doesn't have great resume...... Loma just needs a little more exposure and he will be right up there.

You are right that a name opponent would help with that exposure.
