Does GGG fear Canelo or Ward more?

Canelo is flat footed and a lot easier to hit.
Those are the kind of opponents that Team GGG have built their reputation on.

He doesn't fear anybody. Ward challenged him when he had a contracted fight with Lemieux and was training for that fight. He couldn't accept Ward's challenge and Ward knew this but challenged him anyway as a publicity stunt. Why in hell would GGG, a smaller natural middleweight want to leave the middleweights to fight at 168 and handicap himself by fighting men much bigger than himself????? Middleweight is a traditional glamour division with over 100 years of history. Middleweight is the most prestigious of all weight classes below heavyweight. The 168 pound weight class hasn't existed very long and has very little tradition or prestige. GGG is a great middleweight. He is going to stay there and rule the middleweights until he retires so get used to it. Nobody criticized Hagler or Monzon ruling the middleweights until they retired and never fighting above 160 pounds. GGG deserves the same respect. His haters want him to move up to a weight class he doesn't belong in hoping that will get him beat. They know no middleweight alive can beat him.

Fear seems like such a ****** word that boxing fans casually use. GGG, Canelo & Ward have something like 700+ combined amateur & pro fights between them. Fear like one would experience it in a backyard or after school fight doesn't really exist in pro boxing (imo).
I'm sure there are guys they feel more or less confident in beating or are more or less likely to be an opponent based on the $$$ involved, but fear isn't dictating any decisions in pro boxing with these 3 or any elite fighters (again imo).

He doesn't wanna end up like kirklandOriginally posted by boxing lives View Posthistory has shown us that when a real fighter calls ggg's bluff, he folds. First he would take on everyone from 154 to 168. Clearly he didn't mean canelo or ward. It then turned to lets meet halfway in the case of ward, taking 165-168 off the table. Then again his skirt was pulled up as canelo was willing to give him a shot at 155. Ggg again moved the goalposts. No more 154-159. So basically the guy who stated he will fight everyone from 154 to 168 really meant. I'll fight everyone only at 160-164 (unless a threat comes along at 161-164).Originally posted by boxing lives View Postnot really. Lemieux made ggg look limited with his hand speed at times. David's low punch resistance is the reason he couldn't take advantage of this to take out gg. Canelo has punch resistance and superior technique. He is a real mexican as opposed to a fake one in gg. Someone the caliber of alvarez will make genad look quite ordinary.

First he had a chance to move up to 168 and face a rusty Andre Ward but instead ferociously chased pot headed Chavez Jr and shot battle worn Carl Froch 168 lb fights instead. Both stars Chavez Jr and Froch passed on fights with the obscure Golovkin. Still, big name option Andre Ward was ready and willing to mix it up. GGG clearly didn't want this fight and came up with an excuse of needing a 164 lb catchweight. He knew Ward had gotten heavy from inactivity and that it was not humanly possible for him to make a weight 4 pounds lower than his division. This was the first time Triple G's cowardice surfaced. He ran away from the 168 kingpin with his tail between his legs and decided to stay at 160. He says he fights in a mexican style. Boxings super mega star Canelo Alvarez is the ultimate mexican fighter with a mexican style. Clearly Golovkin would want a shot at boxings star attraction right? Wrong. Even though Canelo is an incredibly huge attraction, he would also be much better than anyone GGG has fought and could possibly knock Genadavich out. I believe GGG may very well fear for his health and fear the karma of ripping off the moniker mexican style. He knows fighting a real mexican would expose that he is an udder european fraud. He immediately began making excuses "no catchweight". He saw fighting Canelo would result in a sure loss and went to see Rhonda Rousey. "How have you been able to avoid a fighter your terrified of? I'm terrified of Canelo the way you are of Cyborg. Please tell me". So clearly Golovkin will do whatever it takes to get out of the Alvarez fight. Rousey coached him up. So who does GGG fear the most?
Now Ward moves up to 175 trying to fight bum assed 168 pound guys. He wouldn't commit to fighting Kovalev either so HBO told him to forget it.
There is no knee swelling, HBO pulled the plug because Ward kept stalling on the Kovalev commitment. He thought he was running the show and HBO had to set him straight.
