Because Bradley comes off as a phony, he says all the right things but it comes off as disingenuous and his fake ass charisma he trys to do is off putting to say the least. He reminds me of that dude who never really got out of that kid mentality and everything he does now comes from what the 15 year version of bradley will do and/or thinks.

you know this is the fake bradley we all see and what he sees is what his 15 year old version of himself thinks what being hard and looking intimating is lol that entire weigh in was awkard as hell cause of bradley fake ass personailty.

All of these are true. Even most of his big wins are controversial too. Dude has no personality. People act like he is some slick boxer. He is good at almost all phases of boxing , but he is not great at anything. Did someone actually insinuate he wasn't popular becaus he was black. ? Please get that racist crap out of here. He just doesn't have the goods to be a super star. He is a hustler and competitor who is always in great shape. His popularity came from him getting into unecessary wars with Provodnikov, Chaves, and Vargas. He beat JMM but so does almost all the champs except Pac. Pac handled him both times rather easily and old Uncle Bob trying to screw with Floyd gave him a gift decision.

        1. Lack of punching power
        2. Has had a reputation as a headbutter
        3. Doesn't act like a clown to try to connect with the WorldStar type audience that loves Mayweather and briefly pumped up Broner.

I quit reading at, "he's a throwback fighter"... That term is so misused these days.

Timmy is not hugely popular for 2 primary reasons. 1, he has no power. You can be popular without power but not when (and this is the 2nd reason) your introduction to causal fans is as "the guy who robbed Manny Pacquiao and thinks he deserved it". That's how people saw him for quite a while. I think the popularity he does have is in his talent and thefact that he's gritty in the ring. His personality outside the ring isn't winning anyone over but ultimately it's how youhandleyourself in the ring and I think a lot of people respect him for that.

This. Its sad the backlash he got from that Pac fight. Death threats and all kinds of crazy ****. The power hurts as well. **** if Tim had power he would be a seriously scary fighter.

It doesn't help that he fights on average twice year, and during the downtime you hear nothing about him. Its like he crawls out of his Arizona desert den for fight night then creeps back inside before the night is over.

I hope Teddy will be able to bring Tim to his potential. I've never been a Bradley fan but respect the fact that he has tremendous potential.

What African-American fighter is popular anyways, apart from Mayweather who always finds a Mexican/Latino to put on the bill?

I've always wondered why African-Americans don't really get behind their guys the same way Ricans or Mexicans do?
