It would have been solid for that undercard, but Ward was going to get a BS opponent and wipe them up anyways. Hopefully Ward fights in the first quarter or next year against a threat at 175 on the way to Kovalev.

Kovalev is doing the Pascal rematch and while he already stopped him before, Pascal is a live guy. I just want to see Ward fight that same level of competition in the lead up.

      Andre Ward ducking Brand doeeee

All I know is Team GGG better not ******** offer Ward a fight at 168 all of a sudden. They'll look like weak b1tches for reacting to Ward's injury.

This sucks because having him on the card would have added value to the PPV.

Oh well, hope he gets healthy so that he can come back strong. Kovalev in 2016 is still going to be one of the most meaningful fights in the entire sport.

Don't worry, Andre isn't done yet.

This is just a tune-up for the injury that will finally force him to retire for good about 2 weeks before he is due to fight Kovalev.

Ward will be back, don't get the hate for him here. He should be one of the most popular fighters, he's among the best and Ward is also a classy guy. I'll still support him.

... You are right -- he would have added value to the card's PPV sales... No doubt about it. But he isn't adding anything, right now -- but (who knows?), maybe ( later today or tomorrow) Ward will be back on that card... and so on.

And I used the term "people" in the loosest possible terms when it comes to the swamplife cancerous fanboys that support GGG.
Sob ... sob ... GGG fanboys broke Andre's knee.

Does anyone really believe this injury crap?

come on, we all know they got rejected by someone with common sense in the network.

Come on Ward go back to 168 and fight Badou Jack or James degeale.

Don't try to move up when you are clearly not ready.
