There are lots of good middleweights but GGG is a great middleweight and too good for any of them.

GGG is a very talented fighter. The division is fine. There is plenty of talent and he has some big fights ahead. I'm looking forward to seeing them.

I only see county one A level guy at Light Heavyweight and that's Kovalev.

And I'm assuming you're counting Ward.

        Who's the third?

Excluding Golovkin, I'd pick most of the top '54s to run through these middles.

Both. MW can get interesting once the 154 guys move up. Canelo is one of those. Lara should make the leap. Charlos and Andrade have the frames to do so as well.

Kovalev, Ward and Stevenson, I included him also. He did beat Fonfara wide, and Fonfara is a very solid B level guy.

I think middleweight division has seen better times.

Golovkin is good, but didn't like as much in his latest fights

middleweight is above average, not great

golovkin is exceptional, i wasnt completely sold until his last fight, lemeiux has been mowing through decent middleweights and golovkin just stood before him and broke him

Even when Martinez was there it was weak, he had to drag 154 up to fight, him too had to go up against Pavlik, I would consider the Martinez till now era weaker than when Taylor and Pavlik were around.

That's how I feel. MW division is not great, but still pretty solid. GGG being as good as he is makes the division seem weaker than it is.

I would like to see GGG fight Lee and maybe Quillin down the road.

It's clear that Cotto doesn't want GGG and Canelo only wants the fight 1 pound above JW. I think GGG should do it, but I can't blame if he doesn't want to drain himself.
