Ward got put in the spotlight and it turns out he never wanted any of Kovalev, just big money to face tuneups. Now it's back to BET obscurity and RN is out a few mill on the whole deal. P4P loser, he isn't even good enough to make it as a PPV undercard.

Andre Ward seems to be the new Winky Wright a very good fighter that is just wasting his career away demanding fighters move up and asking for more money than he's worth.

I think alot of Ward fans are relieved. They are all used to getting free tickets to his fights, and him being on the Cotto-Canelo card they would have had to pay........

The loss of Ward may end up hurting this PPV... I have no interest in watching Miura or any of those other fights, but I did have interest in seeing Andre Ward as the co-main event behind Cotto and Canelo and I'm sure a lot of people did as well.

It's bad news for everyone.

Miura vs Vargas is a title fight with no catchweight. It's a real fight and will be entertaining.

Whoever pulled this - it's a victory for boxing.

All i need to say is look at Froch's resume, and look at the people Ward is trying to line up. He's wasted 3 years of his prime career.

The way he is going about things, i'd have been very very sceptical he'd have fought Kovalev anyway.
