What does that actually mean in real terms? After beating Oscar for the LMW strap, he moved down to fight at 147 and then retired. He didn't defend his LMW or WW strap for 2 years, never simultaneously defended them and has only fought at the weight 3 times, years apart. In real terms, that means nothing. He didn't move up and down between the weights, defending his title multiple times at least twice a year.

This is getting old. I don't hear people constantly bringing up Sugar Ray Leonard's domestic violence accusations, or Sugar Ray Robinson's, or Jake Lamotta's, or Tyson's issues when discussing their legacies.

What Da...Mayweather vs Maidana 2 was at 147 lbs, but the WBA & WBC recognized it as a defense of his 154lbs belts...come on this is just wrong. I wonder what was their reasoning for this desicion. Rather than complain about his wife beating escapedes, this is the stuff that u need to complain about.... nuff said.
It was technically a 154 JMW fight at a catchweight at 147.
