I know and work with a lot of guys like that. Over the last few months, quite a few have been asking me questions about GGG, usually in connection with Floyd.

Loeffler mentioned that GGG vs Lemieux was one of the highest rated international shows on Boxnation, in the UK. But yeah, he is GGG's promoter, of course, and I don't know what the actual figures were.

What's this yadda yadda B.S? Come with a proper argument. Match-ups are all about Risk-Reward - that is what good matchmaking is all about. I think the fight would get made if there was 7/8 million in it for Golovkin as Ward is a great opponent - and there might have been a fight if Ward hadn't self destructed his career the last three years.

I'm not saying GGG is perfectly consistent. He's a boxer...sure. His handlers are businessmen, as they should be. It is what it is. Boxing fans who are looking for principled consistency from fighters (or their management) need to wake up from the cartoon heroes and villains. It's money. It's gray area. Ain't no absolutes under the sun.

What proven ability? It's more hype then anything, I agree he has skills just don't know how good he is because of competition, one champion in 9 professional years as a boxer and it was Pepe Lemieux

When you kO a string of top ten fighters that is a special ability - name me one other fighter doing that - maybe Krusher? He passes the eye test. His resume is maybe at 6 or 7/10. The hype is at 10/10. Ergo hype far exceeds resume or proven ability - whatever you want to call it.

Ggg is going to retire as the only one in history with more "what if" fights than anyone in history! He's the tomato can crusher and always will be! When it's time to step up hell just use excuse after excuse... Go ahead and hide behind mandatories and avoid greatness.
