You going to quigg v Frampton?

I think GGG would do better to go to England. if he got a convincing win and then the crowd went "Minter" that would be very memorable.

    Dirk's scenario makes more sense.

You turned out to be one of the better members of the British boxing cognoscenti and Gong is gone, so no.

Obvious reason: high risk, low reward. Ward's style and skill-set will challenge GGG more than Froch's, and Ward brings no money to the table. Pretty simple.

Sorry but Froch isn't going to get out of bed for a guy who sells 97k PPVs when he did 900k in his last fight.

I've never heard of a fighter taking a paycut to come out of retirement.
I'm as big a Froch fan as you are, but don't twist figures like that.

GGG/Lemieux did 150k on HBO, not 97K, and that was just the US audience. Neither Golovkin nor Lemieux are US fighters.

The 900k you quote for Froch/Groves was Sky PPV, not HBO, and the overwhelming majority of people who bought tickets were Brits, like me, not Americans.

Froch/Groves was shown on HBO, but the TOTAL non-UK income from that fight was only $1million.

The big money from Froch/GGG, if it happened, would come from the UK, Europe and Asia, not the USA.

I'm sure it won't happen though. By the time GGG finishes his business at 160, Foch will be 40 yo.

Abel should shut the **** up and leave him alone to enjoy his retirement, his well earned money, and his beautiful girlfriend Rachel, in peace.

A fight I've always wanted to see but I'd like GGG to fight the winner of cotto canelo before moving up

I been telling people for a lil while now, that this notion that GGG Is only interested in building his legacy is pure fanboy crap. He wants to get paid just like every other fighter. Therefore I believe he will eventually fight Canelo/Cotto below 160. Once the winner of Cotto / Canelo call his bluff he will bend over and take it like a good boy in negotiations for the money.
