WBC has been pretty clear, winner has to face Gennady and rightfully so.

Why is it that mainly African Americans hate Triple G with a passion?

I use to be critical of G, but he's proven himself now

I don't think they will, but they should if the winner doesn't plan on fighting at 160. I'm getting sick of the catch weight bull****

Sorry dude but this 2015, the lineal belt can be stripped and if Cotto or Canelo duck GGG 160 their stripped of the title.

No one recognizes the imaginary. If Cotto doesn't have the WBC title or the The Ring Title, they arent champions. They won't be refered to as champion. GGG will be recognized a the undisputed and lineal champion.

Who exactly is doing the stripping?

Being the lineal champion suggests that all of the best have fought each other at the division, or it suggests that you've beaten the Man (i.e. Martinez in Cotto's case).

If Cotto/Canelo leaves the MW division, the lineage will be broken and the title would be considered vacant. GGG would have to face Lee/Saunders and Quillin/Jacobs in order to begin a new lineage. GGG is neither an undisputed or lineal champion until he ties up the loose ends and gets all of the belts.

If they vacate I and many others will consider Lee vs GGG as the Fight for the lineal title.

You seem to be under the impression that lineal means "best". Negative. Lineal means "the man who beat the man". Golovkin can be undisputed, he can be the best, but he needs to beat the Cotto/Canelo winner to be lineal.

It makes no sense considering Golovkin constantly shows great respect to the african american legends of boxing, he is like a big brother to the african american fighters at abel's gym, and has a reputation as a guy who shows love to all people and doesn't act like he is above anyone else.

But, to be honest, it seems like it is mostly african americans that are active on twitter and on this message board are the haters. At GGG fights, the crowd is very multi-cultural and there are many black fans that buy tickets to support him. GGG gets extreme hate on the internet, but in real life, they can't pretend he isn't a beast because they know how dumb they will sound.
