Well...
Crawford is good fighter. I just don't see anything special about him right now. Time will tell. As for the Mayweather fight. I think Manny did to Floyd what Floyd is used to doing to his opponent's. Manny out defended Floyd, he countered Floyd, he set traps for Floyd, he was the effective aggressor. He took away Floyd's amateurish jab, his jabs to the body, and Floyd didn't snap his head back clearly, once in 12 rounds. On top of that, Floyd was HUGE in there and ran all night. Why did he run? Because Manny is fast and smart. If Floyd would've tried to show who the better fighter really was, he would've gotten beat up. He knew Manny was injured weeks before the fight. A true champion would've came to win, not survive. You can be defensively responsible and let your hands go at the same time. Think James Toney, Whitaker, SRL, etc. He held, ran, fought dirty, etc. He stunk the place up. In a championship unification bout, you should have to FIGHT to win. Manny did his part, Floyd did not. Floyd scammed us all and never looked so ordinary in the ring. When you go back and look at how bogus the commentators were, versus what really happened, it makes you question the integrity of the sport. The credibility of it. I'm being honest here. If Maidana and Castillo deserved a rematch, so does Manny, who many believe won the fight.
