i dont know if you remember but when lara called out canelo at his press conf. canelo dissed him, and said no one wants to see the fight, no one knows who lara is, he laughed on laras face... do you remember what happened after that???
lara was already signed to fight ishe smith and canelo went against golden boy and demanded the fight... when everybody here were saying canelo was ducking lara, and he will never fight him...
canelo could have easily avoided ggg by not fighting for the belt when cotto was stripped, but he didnt, i think he wants the fight, but he wants it under his terms, negotiations will be difficult but it can happen next if k2 is smart or at least next year if ggg really cant go down in weight... just remember cotto was a bigger fight for canelo than ggg is, and negotiations took a while for that...

defending the title at 155 is BS, but in this case isnt ducking, since ggg has no problem making the weight for others...
it isnt fair by the way... canelo will take advantage at that weight...

Yea canelos team said they wanted a voluntary because that was the only way to avoid the fight at the time and not get stripped. Nobody would have any problems with it if he was saying hes fighting GGG next, but he isnt ,he lied, he isnt showing any sign of wanting the fight lately, hes just bashing GGG and making excuses as to why he wont fight him next and keeps demanding his dumb ass 155 CW. Thats the whole reason hes getting alot of heat because its obvious he doesnt want it.
