Kind of sad people can't appreciate Floyd's technical skill and claim to call themselves boxing fans.

I thought my current sig was a genius way for Floyd to cancel Gatti's forward momentum and simultaneously put him in position to launch a combination. He moves Gatti into a straight target for the right hand to start things off.

i think he always beats canelo, but lol canelo only had one credible win in which he struggled against trout.

i don't know what golden boy was thinking putting him against somebody like mayweather.

The way he successfully places his left shoulder in his opponent's face, getting under them whilst working the midsection with short right uppercuts, usually people miss that. Mayweather is such a difficult target to hit up close.

Who cares if Mayweather also gets older? Not prime vs Not prime is not as telling as Prime vs Prime.

Who said it was? My response was for those who say he waits for people to get old, as if he doesn't. So your post is irrelevant to what I said.

This is about THE smartest thing Floyd does. He waits until fighters are on a decline, that way he can still have the name under his resume but fight them when they're a shadow of themselves.
I love how all his contemporaries were past their prime, yet he is faulted for not allowing himself to fall off his game.

And by shoulder, you mean elbow...that gif is technically a foul.

No, that's his left shoulder right under Berto's chin.

This one's great, he anticipates Canelo's left, counters him before he even gets the shot off, counters him again when Canelo's arm is fully extended, tries to counter him after the punch (not sure if it lands) but manages to also evade the return fire from the right hand.

I feel like you are going out of your way not to understand what people are saying when they say he waits for opponents to get old.

He waited for his rivals to fall off. If he had also fallen off as badly as they had, or had they not declined, he would never have fought them [or so the theory goes].

So perhaps the wording would be more clear as to say he only takes the fight if, at the time the fight is to happen, he appears to be in a better position than his opponent.

That's not to say the wins were not of quality btw.
