Floyd is a man of his time (not necessarily a compliment) -- and the best fighter of his generation by a mile. No question. And who else could have neutralized ANY version of Pacquaio the way he did? There was no single amazing lucky punch (call it whatever you want.) Rather this was a steady use of talent to remove Pac's weapons almost entirely, round after round. Quite an achievement at age what, 38?

But, as I said, Money May is a man of his time. He typifies some of the crappiest aspects of boxing. That said, he uses skills to take away EVERY opponent's ability to impose his will, and (as he says), "it's not cool to take punishment." He's going to look and sound a lot better than most of his contemporaries in the coming decades. He did it his way. But without him boxing is going to suffer unless someone steps up.

          Right.

I would never, ever argue that Mayweather's win was better than Marquez's. What Marquez did is one of the great wins in boxing history.

Did he actually neutralized him? Or the ref saved him from all that intentional hugging?

With all that intentional ***** hugging if that ref wasnt biased he should have penalized Floyd for all that intentional hugging.

Post fight analysis shows even with all that running and hugging by Floyd PAc still was able to connect more throughout the fight. Plus pac also was able to land the lethal blows too.

Floyd deserving to win that marathon fight?

              Nope.

              Vegas saved him. Fluke fight.

The best part is he was pumped up with all the peds he can muster and he still ran lol

"Instead, it was Mayweather who made it look easy against an opponent still considered to be among the best."

I stopped reading right there. These people must be on crack or something. And no mention of the IVs he took before the Pacquiaot? Yeah...this is a pointless article. Not worth looking into.

Pacmania is truly dead if the first three pages of this thread aren't crying about journalistic bias like the old days .

Say what you will, when have you ever seen Pacquiao rendered so ineffective offensively?

I'm still trying to think, since no fight in recent years come to mind.
