One thing everyone should appreciate about Roy was that when he cherry picked Ruiz and won a heavyweight title, he knew he was out of his depth at that weight and vacated the title. He didnt hold the belt hostage and say "im not a real heavyweight" and demand Holyfield or Lewis meet him at 201 to unify.

Im sure if YOU were advising GGG, you would accept that absurd offer.

Thats probably one reason you arent GGG's advisor.
      Not really, smarty pants!!!

GGG could have fought Ward and then had more "leverage" negotiating against Cotto/Canelo. That could have been GGG FIRST REAL Opponent. He could have still had Lemiuex back in Oct 2015, Ward in Feb 2016 and then Cotto/Canelo winner in the summer 2016... That would have been a course to greatness...

GGG would still fight nobodies and the hype would look more ridiculous...Same thing for you, son!

        oh yeah, right.

The Cotto-Canelo winner ALREADY breaks out in hives just looking at GGG's photo, even though you claim his resume is *****. Im sure GGG beating Andre Ward would be a real confidence booster for them. I can imagine how eager they would be to commence negotiations hahahahhaha LOL

You're obviously not very familiar with Ward's career. His contracts mean jack ****. He and Dirrell refused to fight each other during the Super Six and he kept threatening to withdraw entirely if his opponents didn't fight where he wanted when he wanted. He just spent years losing lawsuit after lawsuit against his promoter and can only fight again because he died.

Maybe (hopefully) he will fight Kovalev, but there will be some catch. He won't do it without kicking and screaming all the way to the ring. Wait for it.

Those lawsuits were absolutely pathetic on Wards behalf, I feel bad for big Dan Goossen because he did seem like a genuine bloke much like what I did think of Ward but a lot has shown from him perhaps he wants the unintelligent, race motivated Floyd Mayweather fans onboard, who knows?

Boxing needs someone who can entertain the fans in the ring, not someone who can just talk and talk, we had that with Floyd and people weren't satisfied time for a new era of boxing where it can hopefully reach the high heights it once had.

^^^This right here. I already have a Ruths Chris ribeye bet with someone that Ward will torpedo this deal somehow before its over. You watch, After he fights the 2 slobs, dont be surprised if an injury or something else comes up.

Ward will be Pascal's biggest cheerleader soon

This is exactly how pathetic the Cottostans and Wardtards are acting right now to prop up their little hype job even more.

Can't see where your head is at man.

It is clearly obvious that Ward will fight Kovalev.
