I've got no problem with Cotto not fighting Margs right now, but the "hasn't proven he didn't cheat" thing is BS. That win was the result of bodywork and you can't say there's anything about that fight that points to loaded gloves.. People need to sack up and let the one go.
That said, Tony is in no condition or position to fight Cotto right now.

It's ok to say Margarito was too much man for him that day, but everytime cotto loses it's tied to an excuse of some sort. Cotto loved lowering his head and was susceptible to uppercuts in those days. Had Margarito really been plastered up with those shots he landed Cotto would be the original Magomed (with all due respect). That was a savage fight in which Cotto got hit with everything but the kitchen sink. I really do wish people would go back and watch that fight and see the fact Miguel fought Margarito's fight and to Margarito's strengths.

Even the 2nd fight, as was noted on this article but was "downplayed", Margerito was starting to **** up Miguels face in the same manner as the 1st fight!

I have no doubt in my mind that margerito could have stopped in the 2nd fight....but it was like Margerito was fighting the entire crowd, broadcast team, the ref...everyone wanted revenge...on a man innocent man!

Cotto doesn't fight like a man that has been plastered because he never was. Overall he ended up having a better career. He's going into the HOF and still has a chance to be great. Why fucking cry about the first loss still?

Again, nothing in that fight necessitates that he had to have loaded gloves forthat to happen . Him landing those shots and Cotto not defending have nothing to do with loaded gloves.

This is like seeing a man get shot in the head and some people are screaming, "No, it was the poison that killed him!"
