At the end of the day, I'll never believe that Margaresto didn't cheat, he was caught red handed cheating and the onus is on him to prove otherwise. His fights after plastergate proves that he is toothless without his wraps. He doesn't deserve a shot at that belt. Margaresto doesn't even deserve to box. I don't think he felt like super man at all. He went through a hellacious war against Cotto and then was basically shunted into a fight he didn't really want against Mosley. He had his eyes set on De La Hoya who had promised to fight the winner but then backed out and used Mosley as a human shield.

Margarito struggled badly with weight for the Mosley fight, they were even using faulty scales without knowing.

Cotto gave up, he wasn't knocked out cold and what's to say that the people checking gloves on the Mosley fight wouldn't have followed the same procedures to check the gloves of Margarito for the Cotto fight?
He suffered no more brutal facial injuries than he normally sustains, Clottey had his face marked up and brutalized by far worse than Tony did.
