they never really finished their second fight. when you start losing you shouldn't be able to just stop the fight because you are tired.

It's ok to say Margarito was too much man for him that day, but everytime cotto loses it's tied to an excuse of some sort. Cotto loved lowering his head and was susceptible to uppercuts in those days. Had Margarito really been plastered up with those shots he landed Cotto would be the original Magomed (with all due respect). That was a savage fight in which Cotto got hit with everything but the kitchen sink. I really do wish people would go back and watch that fight and see the fact Miguel fought Margarito's fight and to Margarito's strengths.

You guys know nothing about boxing. Margarito was getting to Cotto in the 9th. The guy could hardly stand. If it hadn't been stopped, he would've knocked out Cotto in the 10th.

I don't think Margarito deserves anymore big paychecks since his dirty play but if he wants to continue fighting tomato cans, why not I suppose...

It's hard to say on one hand, the dude deserves to continue to fight if he's medically OK and wants to, then on the other hand you think, the guy knew about the wraps and was OK that he could of killed another fighter to get his win. Pretty messed up.

Margarito is a villain, a known cheater. He doesn't deserve to be in the spotlight, and he certainly doesn't deserve the paycheck. After the firsr fight, I gave my respect to Margarito. Now, we'll probably never know the truth, although to me it's likely he cheated, but no matter what, that fight will forever have a cloud of doubt hovering over it.
