Team Golovkin should call Lara's bluff just for the heck of it. They should face the fact that the Cotto/Canelo winner will not be fighting 3G any time soon.

Cotto and Canelo both are fighting for 160lb straps, have lolligaged somewhere in between for too long and should man up or **** off. There's no reason for a 155 lb catchweight. Maybe 158 at the lowest. But a pound over 154 is ridiculous.
As far as the Ward thing, there is absolutely nothing to compare to the Floyd thing like the Floyd fans so love to do. Floyd 3 time champ, GGG never been to 168. Furthermore in his 1st fight at 168, GGG shouldn't be required to face Ward. Luckily we've heard Ward decided to put on his big boy boxers and go hunt some big game, time will tell.
You're essentially penalising Mayweather for having the cojones to take on a challenge, north or where he's most comfortable, on two separate occasions. It shows you how bias people are as Mayweather fighting at 154lb could just as easily be used to argue that Golovkin should venture into the higher weight divisions.
You're a poster I don't really understand to be honest. You get on fighters grill for not taking on stiff competition, but you elevate fighters who have done next to nothing. You remind me of a hipster, as in you think throwing your support to smaller names makes you a cut above the rest.

So lil g should go to 154 WHERE HE HAS NEVER FOUGHT BEFORE?? And fight Floyd and have a SIZE ADVANTAGE? But shouldn't be required to GO TO 168 AND FIGHT WARD BECAUSE HE WOULDN'T HAVE A SIZE ADVANTAGE??
Now how do you want o try and spin that and get bodied? You are saying Floyd fought at three times and should fight the best middle weight at 154? Which he never made the weight and that Middle weight has never fought? But that same middle weight SHOULDN'T MOVE UP TO FACE WARD HIS FIRST FIGHT??? WHY??
He should move to 154 and fight Floyd his first fight there?? BUT NOT MOVE UP TO 168 AND FIGHT WARD HIS FIGHT THERE??
I just bodied you! They should be you for Halloween next year.
