Geale got $1 mil to fight Cotto on regular HBO
Edwin Rodriguez got $1mil to fight Ward on regular HBO

They're paying their opponents, on regular HBO, close to what GGG made in his PPV debut and close to what Floyd's opponents make on his PPV. He'll make more money fighting Canelo/Cotto/Ward on PPV than he'd make fighting Floyd. Especially after delivering 97-150k on PPV. Floyd would squeeze him at the bargaining table.
Do we know what Golovkin got for this last fight? I heard it was more than lemieux and Lemieux got $2million.

How much did Canelo get on Floyd PPV? Didn't even Berto get $2million?

Wouldn't Golovkin get way higher than Berto against Mayweather? Don't you think that Mayweather coming out of retirement to fight the monster Golovkin couldn't be hyped to the casuals so much more than any other fight currently out there - including a re-match against Pac? The ratings would be through the roof comprised of
      1. Folks who really truly are sure they're gonna see Mayweather lose this time
      2. Floyd fans and casuals wanting to see the big 50 come up
      3. Hardcore and casuals just intrigued by a "great" match-up (most casuals
wouldn't know a great match-up if it slapped them in the face)

Cotto and Canelo both are fighting for 160lb straps, have lolligaged somewhere in between for too long and should man up or **** off. There's no reason for a 155 lb catchweight. Maybe 158 at the lowest. But a pound over 154 is ridiculous.

As far as the Ward thing, there is absolutely nothing to compare to the Floyd thing like the Floyd fans so love to do. Floyd 3 time champ, GGG never been to 168. Furthermore in his 1st fight at 168, GGG shouldn't be required to face Ward. Luckily we've heard Ward decided to put on his big boy boxers and go hunt some big game, time will tell.

Golovkin was willing to face Froch and Chavez jr at 168 but not Ward. Not surprisingly you conveniently left that part out.

What's wrong with that? Ward is willing to face Murdock and Brand in his first fight at 175 but not Kovalev or even Yunieski. Advantage GGG

            The facts:

Floyd fought at 154 doe, 2 1/2 times doe.

You can't say Floyd beats him then makes excuses doe. (Actually you can), no substance doe.

GGG hasn't fought at 168 doe, not the same as a 3 time champ doe.

155 is one pound above 154 doe. Cotto and Canelo both been somewhere in between doe.

If and when GGG goes to 168, he's not required to fight Ward in his debut doe.
He was wiling to fight Froch and Chavez jr at 168 "doe". There's a lot of irony with you calling anybody a fanboy.

Yawn. Come up with some new material. Your Golovkin worshiping is boring.

              Resumes: Advantage Ward.

Did you believe that?
I'm not sure that Lara is a bigger draw but sure it would have been a better fight. I'd like to see the fight but my point is that Lara is not doing much to make it happen.

When Khan tries to get a fight with Mayweather or Pac he's asked to fight better opposition - and people are right, he should. Same applies to Lara - show you are a decent threat by either dominating JMW or beating just one decent MW - he will have so much more weight behind his argument.

Couldn't agree more. They become lil g's accountant when it comes to the Ward fight. "Ward doesn't bring in money, nobody knows Ward" all type of shyt. But when it comes to Floyd. We will fight the smaller guy at a lower division we never fought, but we don't want to fight the bigger guy in a division we never fought.

But some how that guy is a warrior who never moved up one division? Hmmmm Imagine if Broner, Crawford, or Garcia stayed in one division and dominated?? I absolutely hate lil g's **** eating fans.
