I dunno whether it would, that fight would be a sideshow and pretty disgusting. Glad nobody took it serious, including Hopkins

That was the problem with taking the Lemieux fight now, everybody just wrote Lemieux off like he was a nobody. But if Lemeiux had been allowed to go on HBO and destroy a couple more decent MW's like Tureano Johnson & Curtis Stevens, then Lemieux would've been seen as atleast a little more legit of a threat. Same deal with Alvarez, let him show he can beat down 160lbers like Heiland, Chudinov, or Saunders - then match him with Golovkin.
people didnt write him off like he was a nobody its just hes a journeyman with power its the reality i mean it is what it is when roy jones was in a similar situation he went up and beat the best at 168 something ggg refused to do now that guy is moving to 175

What?! How was RJJ in a similar situation? He outgrew MW at 25. He didn't want nothing to do with McClellan... RJJ beat one elite at 168, and he was struggling to make the weight. RJJ then bypassed all the other top SMW's. There's a reason HBO execs nicknamed Roy - Chicken Jones.

I cant believe it, they are actually gonna pass on that fight.

It is official, Golovkin will take the easy way out, because he can..... despite saying that he can beat the winner at 155.

Fk me, fighters used to want to be great, and used to want big fights.

I could not possibly support a fighter like that.

How long you been posting here and still dont know what journeyman means? Do you really need to be explained, again? If GGG ends up half as great as FOTD RJJ, that'd be amazing. Or the naturally larger Hopkins, who stuck around and unified MW till 41, with biggest wins against blown up welters. And no, GGG was offering to go up to 168 for runaway #1 SMW Froch just last year. Wrong on all counts..

                    155 is the "I'm a ***** and I'm scared of GGG division.

Naw, he isn't gonna let that little ***** Canelo have a shot at 3 MW belts at 155.

I don't see him bowing, and it's Canelo who is taking mad heat for being a *****.

GGG needs to sit tight and let Canelo show the world he is a scared little red headed *****.

As if beating Canelo is suddenly going to shut up those critics.

And as Unified, Quillin, Eubanks, Canelo, Lara, Andrade, all of them will be begging for a shot.

K2 knows as Unified they will have the pick of the litter.

And Canel is the one under pressure to fight GGG and stop being Ariana Grande.

Sure, Canelo may try to wait him out.

But by then his career will have been tainted by this ***** move.
Canelo fights at 155, and he will fight anybody.

Golovkin fights at 154-168, and he will fight nobody

                    AHAHAHAHH

Common GGG hater tactic to discredit any of his opponents. Same people will tell you Arthur Abraham was a major win for Ward despite him losing badly to Froch & Dirrell in prior fights and needing to see a sports psychologist and taking an out of tournament tune-up to restore his confidence prior to the Ward fight.

Just like those same people used to brag about Quillin's win over Wright as being a bigger accomplishment despite Wright not winning a fight in over 5 years, being retired for 3 years and coming off a destructive loss. Lets forget Lemieux just convincingly beat a decent top 10 MW in N'Dam.
