I couldn't care less about P4P, it is subjective, over-rated, and irrelevant.
But I made a P4P list the other day just for fun because of that Hopkins thread about Golovkin. I had GGG at #5, behind Kova/Gonz/Ward/Rigo.
My P4P list is not based on resume, just skills/style/form, although resume is given consideration..... and my P4P list will change daily, if I choose.
No way can Golovkin hold his #5 spot, not after this.
Not having decent opponents on your resume because of circumstance is one thing, but CHOOSING to avoid them is a different matter entirely.
That is the 4th live dog that Golovkin has blatantly avoided.
NOTE: not once have I used the word " duck "..... just " avoid ".
Golovkin drops to #7 behind Pacquiao/Crawford.
2/3 the guys behind GGG have opponents lined up in the next few weeks.
Golovkin is likely off my list by Dec unless he gets in with a real one next.
Gennady " Gums " Golovkin.
