But op still has a point. Spence gets all this hype fighting as bottom tier opponents as it gets, a guy like amir imam who's last 6 opponents are all better than anyone spence has fought, yet imam doesn't get near the same hype.

Some awful comparisons in here. Golovkin 33, pro 9 years. Yunieski. 30, pro for 5 years. Felix Diaz 31, pro for 6 years. Even Julian Williams has been pro for 2 years longer than Spence. I do agree that guys like Imam and Vasquez should be hyped on the same level. They both have beaten slightly better opponents. Regardless, all of these young guys are really good and are on the verge of being in some big title fights in 2016.

Difference is, Spence doesn't get anywhere near the hype Golovkin does. Yea, there's a few guys here that are making big claims about him but that happens with anyone. This is another backwards, moronic way of bolstering ggg by trying to attack others. No matter how bad anyone else's competition is, it doesn't change the fact that ggg hasn't beat anyone good, despite title defenses. Spence isn't even leading his division. Those two don't need to be even mentioned in the same sentence.
