For his age, amateur background, talent - Spence has been moved painfully slow. There's really no excuse either. Spence has the Haymon hook-up. Money and tv dates are not an issue, so getting decent opponents shouldn't be a problem.

As mentioned, guys like Karass, D.Chaves, Alexander, Bundu, R.Guerrero, Collazo, R.Robinson, Vasquez, Bizier, Ion, Algeri should've all been offered on the menu by now. He calls out Thurman and when Thurman walks, he goes back to fighting complete no-hopers...

I thought Haymon should've pushed hard to make Spence/Khan. Spence would've won that easy and it would've catapulted him to the top instantly.

What makes u think Khan would take a fight like this and make almost nothing instead of fighting Brook or Thurman for much more money and almost the same risk?

Knowing Khan and the way he dropped out of the 1st Alexander match, he probably would duck Spence. But my point is Haymon should've pushed for it so he could build Spence into a star.

Spence is a humble dude who wouldn't call out Khan like alot of guys. Even with the Thurman thing, that was Floyd talking as he was deflecting Thurman off himself so he could fight Berto.

I like J-Rock, and he is willing to fight the top guys, but he hasn't taken any tough fights outside of Centeno. Edwards likes to spin they match J-Rock up tough, but they've kept him to a certain style of fighters. PBC fighters are keeping a soft diet. Compare that to 23 year-olds Antoine Douglass and Arif Magomedov who have been fighting tough fights.

Ya know, that doesn't surprise me. Spence passes the eye test in my book that's for sure, just hasn't really fought anyone decent yet.

I don't have anything against Spence. His style is just fine, not boring to watch. But I think he can test himself with the guys I already mentioned, Collazo, Bundu, Karass, Guerrero, Lopez...
