    How can Canelo beat Cotto?

To beat him from what i have seen you either have to have swift feet and outbox him,or you have to be a pressure fighter tough enough to walk thru his assault and wear him down..

And from what i have seen of Canelo he has very slow feet and has to be planted in order to set up his combo's,movement really bothers him and Cotto does have good movement even tho at times he does stop and become stationary. Canelos only chance imo will be in the exchanges and even then i think Cotto is the quicker sharper puncher.

Neither really take punches well and reset when hit but Cotto has shown more grit in the past. I just dont see how Canelo can be the favorite here,he does not fit the mold of a fighter to trouble cotto

Canelo can do everything you mentioned you need to do. Canelo is a great combination puncher and has very good defense. He also has above average elusiveness. Canelo wins a decision but it won't be easy.

Cotto doesn't respond well to someone with a good right hand. If Canelo lands on him with his vicious right Cotto could be down and out. That said i predict Cotto by UD, he will land first and has better timing.

Bigger, faster, stronger. That's how. Cotto does have an outside chance of fighting the perfect fight and sticking and moving to a points upset but I know Cotto, he struggles with guys stronger and tougher than him

        Pafquiao
        Ckottey
        Margarito

        And now, Canelo.

Early KO, that's it. That's why he's wearing Everlast MX punchers gloves for this fight. He knows he's not going to outbox Cotto.

Canelo is walking into the fight 20lbs heavier, and a decade younger than Cotto; you add that Cotto hasn't shown otherwordly ability recently, and it makes sense to view Canelo as the favorite.

figuring out how the actual fight is going to play out is where things get interesting.

Lara and trout could move and Canelo did just fine with them. Cotto has stamina issues too and some people thought Shane and Clottey could have gotten the wins. Either way they were close fights.

Cotto will enter the ring 172-173 while Cotto will be 161-162 you are exaggerating a little bit
