I don't understand why the only 3 names that pop up for opponents for GGG are Cotto,Canelo and Ward. Why no mention of Andy Lee? There are only two logical opponents Cotto or Lee, since they both have belts at 160. GGG's name is not as big as Cotto so he should of fought Andy Lee, and if he makes it past Lee then he can go for the big mega fight againts Cotto.

Canelo and Cotto both are going to be sick and tired of hearing GGG's name by the time this is all over.
They'd both be better off if they just refused to answer questions about any other fight than the one on Nov 21st

Lil G fans please answer me honestly? Did any of you loose respect for Lil G when he said he'll fight anyone from 154-168 then when Ward accepted his challenge Lil G throws out a catchweight of 164? I asked because every last one of Lil G fans is calling Canelo a coward for proposing a catchweight yet Lil G did the same thing. Not just that but even Lil G said he'll go down to 154 to fight Money or get a big PPV fight. So why complain now when your hero has said he could make 154 easy? Look truth be told Lil G needs the Canelo or Cotto winner fight more than the belt his resume is weak as paper.

No boxer who is willing to step into the ring is a coward. Calling Cotto a coward really?, the guy has fought everyone, guys bigger than him, guys with loaded gloves..come on man. He is a proven warrior. GGG will never ever be as good of a fighter as Cotto.

Here's my take on that. First, GGG didn't throw out a challenge to Ward, it was the other way round. "Anyone from 154 to 168" meant anyone would be considered, not just MWs. It didn't mean "Andre Ward, I want you NOW." Which is how you are interpreting it here.

Re the 164 catchweight, that wasn't a demand, it was the answer to a hypothetical question. And the way it was put, by both Loeffler and GGG himself - "50/50 on money and weight would be fair" - made me see it as an opening move for possible negotiations. That GGG would fight Ward at 168, if Andre gave him something better than 50% of the purse.

I'm a GGG fan and I'm not calling Canelo a coward for talking about a catchweight. He can ask for one, and it's possible GGG might give him one, in return for a better cut of the purse.

But this a different situation completely from GGG/Ward. Canelo is talking about defending a title in GGG's own division. GGG is not a title holder at 168.
